FENITON 2
LYME REGIS 3
LYME Regis inflicted a first home defeat since December 2019 on title rivals Feniton with a 3-2 victory at Acland Park.
The Seasiders are now just three points behind Fenny with two games in hand and look primed to take top spot in the revised Devon & Exeter Premier East division.
Feniton began the game strongly as Brett Garner was called upon to deny Oscar Walsh in a one-on-one.

But Lyme responded with a killer touch from Brad Rowe, whose volley on the turn flew into the net 12 minutes in.
With Feniton chasing goals due to an inferior goal difference, the hosts flooded forward and equalised seven minutes later when Aaron Pearse crashed a volley beyond Garner despite a suspicion of handball.
Pearse and Paul Dowling both saw offside goals ruled out for Fenny, who finally took the lead in the 63rd minute.
Dowling was the creator, doing well to keep the ball in play and release Walsh for a cool finish past Garner.
With Feniton committing numbers forward Lyme had space to fashion a leveller – which came in classy style from Fred Parsons.
Lyme’s star midfielder nutmegged the Feniton centre-half before clinically making it 2-2.
After soaking up late pressure on their hosts, Lyme produced a lethal counter-attack with Rob Fellingham assisting Dan Rendall to spark jubilant scenes in the Lyme dugout.
Lyme: Garner, J Sargent, R Sargent, Pollard-Jones, Vere, T Wellman, Fellingham, B Rowe, Parsons, Vine, Bastin. Subs: Bond, Rendall, Daniels, Bailey.
