TEMPORARY traffic lights are set to cause delays for three days on the A37.
A section of the A-road, between Closworth and Melbury Osmond up towards the Somerset border, will have two-way traffic lights in place from today, Wednesday, April 28, until Friday, April 30.
The traffic lights will be in place to allow KN Circet to safely install cables for 'improved broadband services' in the area.
Travel Dorset warns that delays are expected in the area and advise any motorists using the key Dorset-Somerset route to allow plenty of journey time.
A spokeswoman for Openreach apologised for any possible delays but urged residents and motorists to be patient during the works.
She said: “Traffic management will be in place on the A37 Yeovil Road from April 28-30 as our contractors, KN Circet, install cabling for improved broadband services.
"Two-way lights will be in place and we’d like to thank local people in advance for their patience while these works take place.”
