FEWER than 20 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Dorset over the last 24 hours.
Data released by the Government show 17 cases were recorded in the county in the 24 hours leading up to 4pm on Tuesday, April 20.
Six people across the Dorset Council area tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 11,828 cases in this area.
The rolling rate stood at 11.4 per 100,000 after 43 cases were recorded in the seven days up to Thursday, April 15.
The Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council area has recorded 11 new cases over the same time period, taking the total since the start of the pandemic to 25,249.
In the seven days leading up to Thursday, April 15, the latest seven-day rolling period, 54 cases were confirmed in BCP, giving a rolling infection rate of 13.7 per 100,000.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 37,077 confirmed cases of coronavirus across Dorset.
The latest figures are a decrease on the number of confirmed cases on Monday, April 19 when 21 positive tests were reported.
