Bridport Leisure Centre has announced the addition of a green initiative.
A two-point rapid electric vehicle (EV) charging station is now situated in the car park at the centre.
This facility is not only available to centre users, but also to the public who may be shopping locally or using nearby facilities.
The charging station, supplied by InstaVolt, delivers rapid charging and all of the electricity supplied comes from 100 per cent renewable energy sources, such as solar or wind farms.
Centre Manager William Thrower said: “We are pleased to offer centre users and residents of Bridport the facility to charge their electric vehicle when using the centre, or using other valued local services."
