A popular shop has launched a brand new cooking store in the centre of Bridport this week.
Cilla and Camilla has opened up a cooking shop, directly opposite its gift shop store on East Street.
Having seen sales in its Sherborne cookshop increase throughout the year of lockdowns - the shop's owners, Sally Ann Palmer and Richard Barker decided to cash in on the area's new found fondness for cooking.
Cilla and Camilla Cookshops aim to 'have everything customers might need for the kitchen, whether a beginner baker or an experienced cook'. Items for sale range from a wooden spoon, to the latest kitchen gadgets.
Mrs Palmer said: "Richard and I are really excited to be opening a brand new cookshop in Bridport.
"Business in our Cookshop in Sherborne has increased post lockdowns as more people have taken up cooking and baking at home. They are excited to be able to bring their expertise and knowledge together with many ranges of great brands to Bridport.
"They aim to have everything customers might need for the kitchen, together with many things they might not know they need. We can’t wait to welcome you to our new Cookshop in Bridport."
The new store has replaced a previous clothing store which ran out of the same building.
Mrs Palmer added: "All the clothing brands which we were selling in Bridport are all still available in the Beaminster shop."
