I FULLY support the recent letter concerning the two key roundabouts in Bridport, i.e., at the junction with Sea Road North and the Dorchester Road, and the second one near Groves Nurseries.
These are the two most crucial, most seen, and most driven around areas in Bridport.
They could be really superb, and a great sign of pride taken in the town generally. Planting of low level shrubs, colourful flowers, maybe some boulders to give a rockery effect. It could be such a welcome. But it isn’t. Both roundabouts are a neglected disappointment long term.
Please Town Council, take this request on board. It would make such a difference to the first impressions of our lovely town to all of us ‘locals’ and to the many, many visitors.
