A CAMPAIGN with an aim to bring a refugee family to Bridport has officially launched its new website.
The Bridport Refugee Support Campaign's new website has gone live within the past week.
Through the website, potential supporters of the campaign can learn more about the ethos and aims of the group and how they plan to achieve their goals. Through the site, members of the public can also donate to the cause, get involved themselves or discover the charity's latest news updates.
The aim of the campaign is to bring a family to Bridport under the Home Office Community Sponsorship Scheme, which is a safe and legal route to resettlement for refugees escaping from countries affected by war, persecution or natural disaster. A spokesperson for the campaign thanked local web designer, Peter Loizou at Bridport Websites, who created the website for the group.
