The date and venue for the 2021 Bridport Business Awards have been announced.

The business awards will take place on Thursday, June 10 at lunchtime at the Tithe Barn at Symondsbury Estate. The awards will be open to the public and will also be live streamed.

The awards, now in their second year, were created to recognise the efforts made by businesses in the Bridport area.

They had previously been scheduled for both Thursday, March 11 and Thursday, April 29 but were delayed on both occasions to ensure there could be as many people as possible in attendance at the awards.

There are 12 categories open to all local businesses, regardless of size, including: Rising Star of the Year, Most Welcoming Business, Best Customer Service, Arts, Crafts and Design, Best Use of Digital, Pub or Café of the Year, Restaurant of the Year, Green Business of the Year, Independent Business of the Year, New Business of the Year, Retail Business of the Year, Service Provider of the Year and an award for the Overall Winner.
