DRIVERS were warned of a crash in west Dorset as police and ambulance crews attended the scene.

The A35 Sea Road South, near Bridport, has partially blocked following an accident near the fire station today.

Traffic was reported to be 'slow' in the area - but the incident has since been cleared.

Commenting around the time of the incident a police spokesman said: "Dorset Police was called at 11.44am on Wednesday March 31 to a report of a collision involving a car and a coach on the A35 Sea Road South in Bridport.

"Officers attended with the ambulance service. The road is currently blocked.

"Recovery has been requested for the vehicles involved."
