EMERGENCY services freed a driver trapped in an overturned vehicle following a crash near Dorchester.
The incident happened at Dorchester Road, Maiden Newton yesterday evening.
A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "At 10.20pm we received a call from Dorset Police requesting that we attend a road traffic collision where a single person was trapped in an overturned vehicle at Dorchester Road, Maiden Newton.
"Two crews from Dorchester fire station were mobilised to investigate, and upon their arrival discovered that the sole vehicle involved had left the road.
"The crews stabilised the vehicle, removed the windscreen using small tools and assisted the driver from the vehicle. The casualty was treated by South Western Ambulance Service paramedics."
