NO new coronavirus deaths have been recorded in Dorset hospitals in the latest 24 hour period, latest figures reveal.
Data released by NHS England shows there were no new deaths in the county’s hospitals, but there were six deaths in the wider south west region.
It means the totals remain the same, with 720 deaths occurring at the University Hospitals Dorset Trust since the start of the pandemic.
A total of 110 people have died at the Dorset County Hospital and 72 people have died at the Dorset Healthcare Trust.
A further 101 people, who tested positive for Covid-19 have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 85,411.
Patients were aged between 37 and 96 years old.
All except two (aged 62 to 70) had known underlying health conditions.
