ALL people aged between 75 to 79 across Dorset have received the first Covid-19 vaccine, according to NHS figures.
The figures show the percentages of how many people across Dorset have received the first vaccination so far from the Covid-19 vaccination first phase priority groups.
The figures revealed 98.5 per cent of people from the over 80 age bracket have received the first vaccine.
All (100 per cent) of people from the age bracket 75 to 79 years old have received the first dose.
A total of 95.8 per cent of people from the age bracket 70 to 74 have received the first vaccine, while 85.7 per cent of ages between 65 to 69 years old have been given the first jab.
The two vaccines that have been approved by the MHRA that are in use across the UK, have impressive efficacy rates, offering protection to those most at risk, according to the NHS.
