LOCAL photographers can gain inspiration from an advice page launched by the Bridport Lockdown Project.
The Bridport Lockdown website has added a new page to help aspiring photographers and give them some ideas.
The page has a growing selection of tips, thoughts and links from a mixture of local and national photographers and filmmakers. There is a range of advice available for photographers of all levels, whether a seasoned professional, a keen amateur, or just snapping pictures on your phone.
The Bridport Lockdown Project began in April at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and the first national lockdown. It was created to capture and archive stories from daily life in and around Bridport throughout the extraordinary year which has been 2020.
Eddy Pearce, the founder of the Bridport Lockdown Project, said: "Having a creative focus during difficult times in our lives can be hugely satisfying, comforting and beneficial to our mental health. We take millions more photos each day today than were ever taken in the past but how many of those do we treasure?
"Seeking inspiration from other photographers or film-makers is one of the best ways to learn to both improve your photography and enjoy it more."
