POLICE are appealing to the public after a tractor was stolen from a rural area in West Dorset.
Residents are being urged to get in touch if they have any information that could help police catch thieves who stole the farm vehicle as well as a set of dung forks from the Mosterton area.
Dorset Police said the incident happened between 2pm on Monday and 10.30am on Tuesday.
The tractor is described as a red coloured Massey Ferguson 390T which was bearing the registration L260BOD.
The tractor was fitted with a black Quicke Loader which was fitted with a 6FT grain bucket. On the rear of the tractor was a tonne weight block which was attached using an A frame. Also stolen with the tractor was a set of dung forks.
