RESIDENTS are being encouraged to join a discussion on how litter can be reduced in Bridport.
Litter Free Dorset is inviting the town's residents to a community workshop held on Zoom.
The organisation t is working closely with five communities between March 2021 and March 2022 to reduce litter and pollution within west Dorset. This is part of a wider project managed by Dorset’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty team (AONB) - Greening West Dorset’s Hills and Vales.
The workshop for the Bridport community will take place on Tuesday, March 16 at 10am
The community workshop aims to; gather information on litter issues and connections with the wider community, co-produce an intervention to reduce litter by seeking ideas from a range of individuals, help support groups which will continue to reduce litter after the initial project ends.
