Plastic Free Bridport is inviting residents to learn 'The Story of Plastic' over the coming days.
The film is takes a sweeping look at the manmade crisis of plastic pollution and the effect it has on the health of the planet. The film was made available to watch online yesterday, and will remain available until Monday, February 22.
The Story of Plastic spans three continents with an aim to illustrate the 'ongoing catastrophe', rivers and seas clogged with waste, skies cloudy with emissions and fields full of rubbish, all a result of plastic pollution.
Bookings can be made through Eventbrite and those who book are given a 24 hour window to view the film. Once booked, you will receive an email with instructions and a link to the film.
Plastic Free Bridport will also be hosting a Q&A discussion on Tuesday, February 23, starting at 7pm on Zoom, and will be joined by Friends of the Earth’s lead co-ordinator on plastic pollution, Camilla Zerr.
To watch the film or to take part in the Q&A visit www.eventbrite.co.uk and search for 'The Story of Plastic'.
