BRIDPORT Morrisons is continuing to raise funds for children who suffer with cancer.
The store's 'community champion', Keira Tait, set up a stall last month to for raise funds for CLIC Sargent, the supermarket's charity partner, ahead of World Cancer Day.
The unmanned stall, which allowed customers to leave a message for loved ones on a 'message tree', was able to raise £316 for the charity.
Continuing with her fundraising efforts, Keira has set up another handmade stall in time for Valentine's Day, once again in aid of CLIC Sargent. A variety of handmade items are available for customers to purchase for a good cause, including heart painted shopping tote bags, painted stones, knitted 'pocket hugs', roses, box displays full of chocolates and hampers
Keira Tait said: "These are frightening times, especially if you’re a child with cancer. CLIC Sargent social workers are there for families in their darkest hour and even more so now dealing with added pressure of coronavirus.
"Morrisons have extended their partnership with CLIC Sergeant and against all odds each store champion is doing their bit to help. Though my unmanned stall for World Cancer Day, we were abel to add more than £310 to our in store fundraising efforts.
She added: "I have now set up a handmade Valentine's stall to continue to raise for CLIC with the likes of handmade tote bags, hand painted stones, pocket hugs, roses, box displays and hampers available to purchase."
