MULTIPLE fire crews were called to a crash.
Firefighters from Charmouth Fire Station as well as a co-responder team were mobilised to reports of a road traffic collision at 5.30pm yesterday in Trafalgar Way, Axminster.
Once in attendance the firefighter crew immediately stabilised the vehicle whilst the co-responder team was deployed to give re-assurance and first aid to a trapped male within one of the cars.
Upon arrival of the ambulance service, fire crews assisted with safely extricating the casualty so a male driver could be conveyed to hospital by land ambulance.
Another male from the second car was freed from his car.
The road was temporarily closed while police awaited the recovery of the two cars.
