AN ASKERSWELL pub has come up with an inventive idea for customers to enjoy its beer garden when lockdown restrictions are eased.

The Spyway Inn has revealed what they has been working on during lockdown period. The pub has installed new 'SPYPODs' - providing customers with weatherproof seating areas whilst also giving them garden views in all weathers through the pod's windowed exterior.

The pods are not yet complete and are due to be decorated. Once they are complete the Spyway Inn team will share them on its Facebook page.

The owners of the Spyway Inn said: "These little weatherproof beauties have been catching the eye of passers by so we'd thought we'd share them with you. You'll be able to sit in the garden in all weather while enjoying our fabulous views.
