A MUSEUM is encouraging residents to get creative during the lockdown period through its latest initiative.
Lyme Regis Museum has set up its new 'Museum at Home' project to connect with and support people through the third national lockdown
Residents are encouraged to get creative, joining tutors Christine Allison and Sarah Acton on works inspired by the objects at the museum, as well as in their own homes. Christine is an artist and Sarah is a poet, and they will work with those who attend the online sessions, helping them produce written pieces and drawn works of art.
A spokesman for the museum said: "Creative activities are a great way to support and maintain mental health.
"So join us to discover the secrets of the museum, have fun, see your own home in a new light, learn new skills, meet with and share your work with other people."
