A POPULAR West Bay restaurant is set to open a takeaway-only building next door.
The Station Kitchen will launch its on-site takeaway venue, 'The Ticket Office', tomorrow - Friday, January 15 - to provide hungry residents with takeaway food during the latest lockdown.
The Ticket Office has a range of burgers on offer, filled with beef, chicken, halloumi or a plant-based patty. There are a variety of burgers on offer, from the 'blowing smoke' burger for those with a fiery taste to the 'locomotion', designed for vegans, with non-dairy cheese and vegan chipotle sauce.
There will also be plenty of sides and cheesecakes to take away.
The takeaway-only sister venue was built earlier in the year, but will officially open its doors tomorrow.
Claire Moore, co-owner of The Station Kitchen, said: "We are super pleased to announce that The Ticket Office will officially open its doors from Friday, January 15.
"We decided to build The Ticket Office during the first lockdown. It had been on our to do list for some time, and lockdown gave us the opportunity to focus on this new venture.
"We wanted to offer something on the go to the locals, tourists and of course our lovely customers. Our idea was local, well cooked and delicious food, for people to hit the beach with, or enjoy 'alfresco style' on our platform.
She added: "We plan for the ticket office to gain its own clientele and offer something different to The Station Kitchen."
The Ticket Office will be open every Friday and Saturday evening from 5pm to 9pm, with plans for the takeaway restaurant to open more frequently in the near future.
Potential customers are advised to pre-order their meals by emailing info@thestationkitchen.co.uk, texting 07951 759455 or calling 01308 422845. Alternatively, customers are welcome to turn up and order, but the wait may be longer.
