A HOSPICE charity is encouraging people to take on a virtual fitness challenge to get in shape and raise some money.
Weldmar Hospicecare, an end of life care provider for people living in Dorset, is asking people to set themselves a target distance of five kilometers, 10 kilometers or a marathon and run, jog or walk to complete it.
A spokesman for the charity said: "Set yourself a target distance and decide when and were you complete it - you don't have to do it all in one go.
"It's easy to take part. Set up an online fundraising page and download a fitness app to track your progress.
"Take a screenshot of your progress once you have completed your challenge and email this to your dedicated fundraiser who will be allocated to you when you have registered."
Registration is £10 per person.
