A HOSPICE charity is encouraging people to sign up to its annual overseas fundraising challenge.
Weldmar Hospicecare, a specialist end of life care provider for people living in Dorset, will be running its annual overseas challenge in October, which will see participants trek across the India Himalayas.
The trip was originally scheduled to take place in autumn 2020 but the charity was forced to postpone to October 2021.
The delay does mean that there is an opportunity for more people to sign up to next year's trip and gives the group more time to train for the event.
A spokesman for Weldmar said: "We want all participants to have the best experience on this ‘once in a lifetime’ trek, and it would just not be the same with current restrictions."
Participants must pay a £390 registration fee and raise a minimum fundraising target of £3,250 for the charity.
