READERS will know the cliff fall predicted on December 10th occurred. It amounted to approximately 20,000 metric tons.
The current position is that the whole coast from Hive beach to Freshwater is very dangerous, compounded by the fact that it is near impossible to leave the beach at Freshwater.
The problem is that visitors can be seen close to the cliffs between the recent unstable fall and Hive beach.
One very large single grasstopped block of approximately 1,000 tons is displaying two large vertical cracks which will result in further falls. I foresee severe injuries or fatalities to visitors. It is relevant that walkers venturing towards danger are in view of those in the NCI hut.
This is my third and last plea to the NCI to become involved.
