A HOSPICE charity will be running its fourth annual tree recycling scheme next week.
Weldmar Hospicecare will be running its Christmas 'tree-cycle' project again, where people can book a collection for their real Christmas tree in return for a suggested minimum donation of £10.
Trees will be collected from the Bridport area on Sunday, January 10.
This year, Weldmar is partnering with Trinity St Christmas Trees which will be making the collections on the charity's behalf and helping to dispose of them in an eco-friendly manner.
Trees taller than 8ft will not be collected and Weldmar staff ask service users to place trees outside the day before collection to 'air' and reduce the risk of contamination.
All bookings for tree collections must take place before the end of January 4 and can be done by filling in a form on the Weldmar website.
