FIVE further coronavirus deaths have been recorded in Dorset hospitals in the last 24 hours.

There was one death at Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester.

Four people died in University Hospitals Dorset, which includes the Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Poole Hospital.

The number of people to have died with Covid-19 within the Dorset Healthcare Universities Trust remains the same.

since the start of the pandemic there have been 277 deaths in University Hospitals Dorset, 30 at Dorset County Hospital and 32 in the Dorset healthcare Universities Trust.

This brings the total number of coronavirus deaths in hospitals in the county to 339.
