A WEST DORSET road has been closed following a landslip which has blocked the road.
An unnamed road in West Milton near Leat Cottage will be closed in both directions for up to 21 days whilst Dorset Council carry out works to reopen the road.
The council announced an emergency closure today. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along the stretch of road, which covers a distance of approximately 45 metres.
An alternative route is now in place and will take drivers first towards Loders before turning onto Yellow Lane taking a road towards Bradpole and turning on to Higher Street and Mangerton Lane before getting back on the road towards West Milton.
