FOUR drivers have been reported to court on a busy day for Dorset Police - including a man who was stopped for speeding as he was rushing to collect an accessory for his PlayStation.
Dorset Police No Excuse team were out in force in west Dorset yesterday.
Two drivers were stopped for speeding on the A35 near Eype - one was driving at 78mph and the other at 91mph in a 50mph zone.
A spokesman for the No Excuse team said: "The one doing 91mph clearly had a good excuse, he was collecting a 'steering wheel' for his PlayStation.
"Both drivers reported for court."
Two cars were seized in Beaminster, including a Ford Focus. The driver was reported to court after he was stopped for having no insurance.
A spokesman for the No Excuse team said: "The driver of the Ford Focus decided to use his partner's car to collect his son, however he wasn't insured to drive any car as his provisional licence had expired."
Finally, a driver was stopped on her way back from KFC in Wimborne.
A spokesman for the No Excuse team said: "No insurance and her licence had expired too, no secret recipe required to work this one out."
