BUSINESS owners have been reminded about another government-backed grant they can apply for, to help them recover from the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
A Dorset Council spokesperson said: "If your business isn't eligible for the Local Restrictions Support Grant but has been significantly impacted by the current lockdown, you may be able to get help through the Additional Restrictions Grant."
To qualify, businesses must have been open before the November national restrictions, required to close due to national restrictions that came into force on November 5, and not have a liability to pay business rates.
Business owners can be eligible to claim up to £2,100, depending on how many employees they have.
For more information, head to the Dorset Council website and search for additional restrictions grant or email additionalrestrictionsgrant@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk
