Long delays on A35 due to gas repairs
Emergency gas repair work is taking place on the A35.
Gas company SGN is carrying out repairs to its gas network between Chideock and Bridport and a contraflow system is in place until September 9.
Bradley Barlow, spokesman for SGN, said: "To ensure everyone's safety, we've installed temporary traffic lights on the A35 while we make our repair.
"We hope to complete our repair soon and will remove our lights when the work has been completed."
The work caused long delays on the A35 yesterday (Tuesday) in both directions between Morcombelake and Higher Eype.
