Outline permission is being requested for five homes together with a new road access off North Mead Farm, Front Street, Portesham.
The scheme, on a 0.3 hectare site, is for two three-bed homes and three of four, or more, bedrooms, each home with a garage. The site backs onto the rear gardens of properties in Winters Lane.
The application has already won the support of Mr Malcolm Passells who has written to Dorset Council : “Previous homes built by this family builder have been a credit to the village. I hope this application is fully supported by those who live here and who value such things.”
The application is expected to be decided by a planning officer under delegated powers and is open for public comment until September 24.
