A CRACK squad of dirt busters have been recruited to help keep West Dorset's Jurassic coast resorts in tip-top condition this summer.
Operating from the council's Bridport depot, the team covers Lyme Regis and West Bay daily, with occasional trips to other tourist hotspots, such as West Bexington and Charmouth.
They empty rubbish bins, sweep up and collect litter along promenades and beaches.
District council Leader Robert Gould said: "The beautiful nature of West Dorset makes it very attractive to visitors so it's vital that we keep the district in tip-top condition.
"The resort cleaners are out and about from early morning to the evening ensuring that our busy tourist areas are up to the standard that people expect."
The crew operates in shifts offering an impressive 7am to 7pm cleaning service seven days a week.
The team has been employed to cover the main holiday season between May and September.
