Beaminster Tunnel
MOTORISTS were facing delays on the main A3066 near Beaminster Tunnel this afternoon because of a collision.
The road was closed in both directions for a time between the B3163 at Clay Lane and the B3164 at Whetley Cross.
Diversions were put in place.
The crash just after 1pm involved a red Fiat Brava registered to a Beaminster man which collided with a black Honda motorcycle registered to a man in Mosterton.
The motorcyclist was taken to Yeovil hospital with back injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening.
