A POOLE mum killed following a caravan crash at the weekend died of a traumatic brain injury.
Rosemary May Evans, 48, of Kitchener Crescent, Poole, suffered devastating injuries when the Land Rover Discovery she was travelling in overturned on the A35 between Dorchester and Bridport on Saturday afternoon.
The vehicle was towing a caravan.
Mrs Evans died in hospital on Tuesday morning. Her 52-year-old husband and their 11-year-old son were also in the vehicle. The boy escaped without injury, while Mr Evans received slight injuries.
The coroner’s officer for Dorset said an inquest was opened at 10.50am this morning and has been adjourned until January next year.
Friends of Mrs Evans on Facebook have been paying tribute by changing their profile pictures to roses.
