FLANDERS Robert William "Chideock Wheelchair Rob" Passed away peacefully on 5th April 2024 aged 49 years. A dearly loved son to Martyn and Heather, brother to Donna and Rich and partner to "the love of his life" Jane. Rob will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends. Funeral service to take place at Weymouth Crematorium on Wednesday 24th April at 11:30am. Family flowers only. Donations if desired for Spinal Injuries Association may be made online at www.ajwakely.com or be sent c/o A J Wakely and Sons, 7a Silver Street, Lyme Regis, Dorset, DT7 3HR

Heard today of your passing Rob. You crossed my path at a low time of my life whilst i was walking miles with my dogs. I nearly turned back at the narrow road on the way to Seatown but you appeared so I walked alongside you. Your knowledge of your hometown and mine from your driving days was incredible, you made me smile, you made me laugh and gave me the directions back to my car at Symondsbury so I didn’t get lost. Our friendship was brief but I thought of you often. May you rest in peace and my thoughts go to your family and loved ones. Below is the view you loved so much I took on that day.
