GOLLOP Joan Beryl née Carter Passed away peacefully at Weldmar Hospice after a long illness on 1st October 2023 aged 80. Ken, Clare, Dan and Charlie wish to thank Lyme Medical Centre, District Nurses, Zoe Jones, Macmillan and Weldmar Nursing team, and Axminster & Lyme Cancer Support for all of their support over the past year. The care and company of family and friends has meant a great deal to Joan and to us all. Joan was a proud Yorkshire woman, coastguard and medical librarian, who sailed single-handed into Lyme in July 1978 and made her home here. The cremation will be private but donations in her memory to Axminster & Lyme Cancer Support or to Weldmar are welcomed.
