MAWHINNEY Islay Margaret Passed away peacefully on Saturday 8th February 2020 aged 83 years at St. James Park Care Home where she received attentive care and great kindness. Survived by Barry, her husband, for 56 years, their daughter, Tamara (David Gaukrodger) and twin grandsons, Kellen and Aidan. Islay gave indispensable support to Barry in their many overseas postings with the Canadian Foreign Service over 32 years followed by happy retirement at her initiative in Devon and then Dorset. Private funeral arrangements by Wakely & Sons for immediate family. A Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. No flowers please but, if you wish, a donation could be made either on-line to the Alzheimer's Society in Islay's memory or sent c/o A J Wakely & Sons, 91 East Street, Bridport DT6 3L
