THORPE George Bernard Died peacefully on the 12th December 2018, aged 91 years. Beloved husband to the late Rita, father to Caroline and Simon. Grandpa to Jonathan, Daniel, Kieran and Dominic and great grandad to Owen. Bernard will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and all who knew him in the Beaminster community. A Service of Thanksgiving will take place at St Mary's Church, Beaminster on Friday 28th December at 3.30pm. Family flowers only but donations if desired for either Weldmar Hospicecare or Dorset Healthcare Charitable Fund (Bridport Hospital) may be sent c/o A J Wakely & Sons, 7 North Street, Beaminster, DT8 3DZ.
