HULL Betty Died peacefully on 17th October 2018 after a short illness, aged 92. Kept her remarkable sense of humour right to the end. A former tennis player and school champion, she continued her great love of tennis as a fan, with several visits to her beloved Wimbledon even in her old age. Children Chris, John, Anne and David will miss her great wit, love of literature, and her formidable skills at Scrabble/ Upwords. Funeral at St Mary and St Catherine's Catholic Church Bridport Friday 2nd November at 2pm then Weymouth Crematorium at 4pm. Family flowers only. Donations to Cancer Research UK may be sent to A J Wakely & Sons, 91 East Street, Bridport DT6 3LB.
