We asked the team at Bridport-based cocktail bar DarkBear to share their recipe for the perfect autumn cocktail.

Owner Lloyd Brown explained: "Dark Bear has been working on a nostalgic Blockbuster themed menu which will be launching in the New Year.

"This Hocus Pocus inspired cocktail, created by Vix Brown, is a delicious and easy to make Autumn favourite."

  • Start with 50ml of Tequila, we like Ocho but any blanco tequila will work

  •  Add 25ml freshly squeezed lime, 15ml of triple sec, squeeze of orange juice, 15ml pumpkin spice syrup

  • Shake hard with ice 

  • Double strain into your favourite goblet or mini cauldron and garnish with a toasted marshmallow

Dark Bear are launching at the Viking Village at Seals Cove with their event bar Björn.

They will be open from December 1, with a line-up of events to follow.

DarkBear were hoping to open in town this year but it sadly fell through.

Lloyd said: "You can’t keep a good bear down and we are currently on the hunt for a new space.

"We are still offering cocktails to your door!"
