A BRIDPORT antiques shop is set to return to the small screen for a fourth time after it received a visit from a BBC film crew.
South Street Antiques is again set to appear on the BBC's Antiques Road Trip.
This visit saw one of the show's newest presenters, antiques dealer Arita Marriot, searching the South Street store for hidden treasures earlier this month.
The shop will actually be seen on today's programme - but this is from a separate visit filmed last year.
Mother and son duo, Frances and Bill Moseley, have been running the antiques shop together for the past 10 years.
Mrs Moseley said: "We were surprised when they rang, it’s nice that they appreciate the shop and like to come down here and see what we have to offer.
"Arita was very nice and very friendly and the film crew were great and kept to the social distancing rules. Many of them had never been to the Jurassic Coast so they were very curious to see and find out more.
"This is the fourth time they’ve visited the shop and when they left at the end they said we’ll look forward to seeing you again."
She added: "We love them coming in. It’s a bit nerve wracking as your shop is going to be on TV and everything has to be in top condition but overall it’s a really enjoyable experience."
The crew filmed for around three hours whilst Arita scoured the store for items to make a profit on.
Arita picked out a 18th century 'mocha jug' to sell on for the programme, along with a number of items for herself.
The programme, which airs on BBC One, follows antiques experts as they set off on a road trip around the UK searching for treasures and competing to make the most money at auction.
This will be the fourth time South Street Antiques has appeared on Antiques Road Trip with the shop being visited in 2015 and 2017 - before being visited by auctioneer and dealer Raj Bisram in October 2020.
The episode featuring Raj's visit to the South Street Antiques will air this afternoon - Thursday, May 27 - at 4.30pm on BBC One. It will then be available on BBC iPlayer following the airing.
There is no scheduled date yet for the episode featuring Arita Marriot.
