Notice of Confirmation of Public Path Order
Town and Country Planning Act 1990, Section
257/258 and Paragraph 7 of Schedule 14
West Dorset District Council (Mosterton Bridleway 8 Public Path)
Divsersion Order 2011
On 17th October 2011 West Dorset District Council confirmed the above order.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert part of Bridleway 8, Mosterton, at West Farm, from its junction with West Lane, south of West Farm Cottage at point A (ST 44770582) generally west and north-west through the farm and through point I (ST 44560589) to point H (ST 44350590) and to create an alternative bridleway on a line running from point A, through the field continuing in a westerly – north westerly direction, to the south of the farm buildings through points B,C, D, E, F and G to point H as shown on the order map.
A copy of the confirmed order and the order map may be seen free of charge at the Council offices, Stratton House, Dorchester/ Rax Lane, Mountfield, Bridport from 9am to 4:30pm on Monday to Fridays. Copies of the order and the map may be bought there at the price of £1.
This order comes into force immediately as the West Dorset District Council has certified that the terms of the order have been complied with, but if any person aggrieved by the order desires to question its validity, or any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under Section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within six weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to the Act.
