WEST DORSET DISTRICT COUNCIL gives NOTICE of its intention to appropriate (under S.232 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990) to purposes it is authorised to acquire land under the Local Government Act 1972, the pieces of land described below currently held by it under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and which include areas of open space land.
WEST DORSET DISTRICT COUNCIL also gives NOTICE of its intention (following appropriation) to make (under S.123 of the Local Government Act 1972) disposals of the land for the continued provision thereon of public open space.
Approximately 2.511 hectares of land on the south side of Lower Walditch Lane Bridport and known as Jellyfields, Bothenhampton, Bridport.
Approximately 0.453 hectares of land on the west side of Pymore Road Bridport and known as St Cecilias, Bradpole, Bridport.
Approximately 2.906 hectares of land on the north west side of Sea Road South Bridport and known as The Boot off Sea Road South, Bridport.
Approximately 2.028 hectares of land on the north west side of Sea Road South Bridport and known as Land at Askers Meadow, off Sea Road South, Bridport.
A plan of each piece of land may be viewed between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm, Mondays to Fridays (inclusive) (except Bank Holiday Monday 29th August 2011) at the District Council’s offices at Stratton House, 58/60 High West Street, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1UZ. Anyone wishing to object to the proposals should submit their objection in writing to the Legal and Democratic Manager at West Dorset District Council, marked with the reference VJ/10/0061. Any objections to be received no later than 20th September 2011.
