Public Path Diversion Order 2011

On 4 July 2011 the Dorset County Council confirmed the above named order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 as unopposed and the County Council has certified that work has been carried out to bring the site of the new highway mentioned in article 2 of the order into a fit condition for use by the public.
The effect of the order as confirmed will divert:
Footpath 28, Beaminster
Parts of Footpath 28, Beaminster in theWest Dorset District:
1. From ST 4952502580 west north west of Lake House Farm, east south east along the driveway to the farm to its junction with the current route of Footpath 29 at ST 49710254 and continuing east south east along the driveway to ST 49860249.
2. From ST 49940253 east of Lake House Farm, north for a distance of 34 metres to ST 49940257 and east for a distance of 22 metres to ST 49960258.
Footpath 29, Beaminster
Part of Footpath 29, Beaminster in theWest Dorset District from its junction with the current route of Footpath 28 at ST 49710254, generally south west and south along a grassed track to ST 49580244.

Parts of Footpath 28, Beaminster in theWest Dorset District:
1. From ST 4952502580 on the driveway west north west of Lake House Farm, north to ST
4952502582, into the field and turn east across the field to the south eastern corner at ST 49770257. Cross into the next field and continue south east to the field boundary at ST 49830253 and again cross into the next field and continue south east to its junction with the driveway to the farm at ST 49860249.
2. From ST 49940253 east of Lake House Farm, north north east on the eastern side of the western field boundary for a distance of 48 metres to ST 49960258. The width of these parts of Footpath 28 is 2 metres.
Limitations: ST 4952502582 - 1.12 metre wide pedestrian gate, ST 49770257 - Field gate, ST 49830253 - Field gate. All to comply with BS 5709:2006.
Footpath 29, Beaminster
Part of Footpath 29, Beaminster in theWest Dorset District from ST 4952502580 on the driveway west north west of Lake House Farm, south to ST 49520257 and then south west, crossing the boundary into the next field and following the western side of the eastern field boundary to ST 49490249.Turn east into the next field, following the eastern side of the western field boundary, east and south east to ST 49510245 and then east, across the field, to rejoin the current route of Footpath 29 on the grassed track at ST 49580244.
The width of this part of Footpath 29 is 2 metres.
Limitations: ST 49520257 - 1.24 metre wide pedestrian gate, ST 49490249 - 1.37 metre wide pedestrian gate. All to comply with BS 5709:2006.
A copy of the order as confirmed and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Reception, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester during normal office hours. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £10.00. (Cheques should be made payable to Dorset County Council.)
The order came into effect on 12 July 2011 but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 13 July 2011, make an application to the High Court.
