Two Lyme Regis restaurants have come away with the top award at a prestigious ceremony.
Tom's Lyme Regis and Lilac Restaurant and Wine Bar have both scooped the top gong in their respective categories at this year's Trencherman Awards.
The awards night took place at Bovey Castle, in Devon, on Monday, April 29 and celebrates the best restaurants and pubs in the south west region.
Tom's Lyme Regis won the 'Best Front of House' award whilst Lilac won the award for 'Creativity and Innovation' - with Lilac's chef and owner Harriet Mansell just missing out on the 'Best Chef Award'.
The two restaurants were the only winners from Dorset at the glitzy ceremony in Dartmoor.

However, the county was well represented at the country house themed soiree.
The Seaside Boarding House, in Burton Bradstock missed out on the ‘Best Hotel Award’, whilst The Three Horseshoes Pub, also in Burton Bradstock, narrowly lost the ‘Best Pub Award’.
In West Bexington, The Club House was in the running to claim the 'Best Bar Award' but again just came up short on the night.
Further east of the county, The Catch at the Old Fish Market in Weymouth was a finalist in the 'Newcomer Award' category and in Sherborne The Clockspire missed out on the Best Restaurant Award'.
