TODAY sees the beginning of Bridport RFC's long-awaited tour to France.
The Daggers' under-15s and under-16s depart for three-day tour to the club's twin side Lège-Cap Ferret on the French Atlantic coast.
Bridport's youngsters undertook numerous fundraising efforts to make the tour possible and they have now been rewarded with the rugby phase of their journey.
The tour will involve intensive joint training sessions followed by two matches against their French counterparts.

There will also be time to take in a visit to the Dune du Pilat, the tallest sand dune in Europe.
Meanwhile, Bridport's first team, after a bye in the first round of the Papa John's Community Cup, will welcome a team from Bream in Gloucestershire for their second-round match on Saturday.
The tie kicks off at 2.30pm in what will be an interesting encounter with Bream bringing a large contingent of support.
