FIREFIGHTERS have been dealing with a major barn fire near Bridport today.
A total of seven crews - five pump crews and two water carrier crews - have been working to extinguish a fire involving straw inside a single storey barn in Combe Drain, Fishpond near Bridport.
Firefighters from Charmouth, Bridport, Lyme Regis, Beaminster, Axminster, Chard and Yeovil attended and used two hose reel jets and two main lines to extinguish the fire.
Crews were called to the scene at around 12.26pm today.
