Firefighters were called to a home in Bridport this afternoon after the owner was locked out.
A spokesman for Bridport Fire Station said: "At approximately 12.50pm, one appliance from Bridport was mobilised to assist with a person locked out of their property.
"After completing a special service acceptance form, crews gained entry by removing a glass pane and opening a window, allowing access for the owner."
