The Friends of Bridport Millennium Green will be hosting their popular Twelfth Night event this weekend.
There will be entertainment from Tinker’s Cuss, who will play the usual mix of 60s tunes, sea shanties and folk music, and poetry from Debra Bates.
The event will take place at Bridport Town Hall on Saturday, January 4. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
Refreshments and a drink will be included in the ticket price of £7.50, or £6.50 for members, which are bookable by calling Sue Wilkinson on 01308 425037 or Sandra Brown on 01308 423078.
Also, for 2020, the group will be holding a special 20th anniversary event on Saturday, February 29 at Bridport Town Hall.
Throughout the year there will be a programme of talks, including subjects such as old local postcards, coastal birds and badgers.
The Friends of Bridport Millennium Green was set up with the aim of fundraising to raise its profile and to keep the gardens and hill as relaxing space for future generations.
