A WEATHER warning for fog has been issued for Dorset this evening.
Residents are being advised to expect travel disruption after a yellow warning - meaning 'be prepared' - was issued by the Met Office.
The warning is in place for the whole of the county from 5pm today (Monday December 30) until midnight.
Official advice warns that fog is a major travel hazard due to problems with visibility.
The Highway Code advised that headlights should be used when visibility is below 100 metres. Before setting off on a foggy journey, drivers should make sure their lights - especially fog lights - are working properly.
